NEW 2008: Lighthouse Sundial
The Lighthouse family is about people being in touch with their natural surroundings. And what could be more clear-cut than using beautiful shapes and materials to show the time by using the sun, while keeping an eye on the quantity of rain.
The Lighthouse sundial and rain gauge is a solid construction in which the actual 50 cm tall "lighthouse" is made of Menu's strong and extremely durable porcelain. The sun dial is located at the top – a simple and elegant dial in tempered, see-through glass – and in the middle, the rain gauge made of aluminium and frosted plastic.
The only thing left is to point the dial in the right direction and wait for the good weather to arrive. If the sun refuses to shine, you can always measure how much rain is falling…
